Spar Shipping is a shipping line based in Copenhagen. With a total of five ships we offer all kinds of passenger sailing all over Denmark.
The shipping line was formed in 1991 as a super structure of the two shipping lines ”Øby” and ”Langø”. “Øby” has been operating on the Sea of Oresund with fishing and sailing for more than 40 years. “Langø” has more than 20 years of experience.
Spar Shippings specialty is all kinds of sailing in the Sea of Oresund and during the years, the company has realised innumerable sailings with very different purposes: regular service on Limfjorden, assistance during the construction of the Storebælt – and Oresund Bridge, regular service to Flakfortet since 1984 and to the Swedish island of Hven.
During the years Spar Shipping has also created great experience with fishing tours and parties at sea. You arrangement can be tailor made exactly for your wishes and needs, being an excursion, company party, reception, birthday party, bachelor party, wedding, Christmas party or something else, where you want the arrangement to be somewhat unusual.
The ship will sail you from and to your location of preference and Spar Shipping will be pleased to assist you in the planning and selection of menu and wines, music and entertainment on board and transportation by land. The largest ship seats 240 passengers and for larger parties it is possible to lay on extra ships.

In the summer of 2004 the Cunard Line chartered Spar Shipping for transportation of their passengers from Queen Elisabeth 2 to the Copenhagen harbour.
In less than 8 hours the company sailed approx. 1.400 passengers from Copenhagen Road to the Port of Copenhagen back and forth.
