The Swedish island of Hven, home of the Tycho Brahe Museum, is approx. 4,5 km long and 2,4 km wide and has only 360 inhabitants.

The island has a lot to offer! Many craft men have found the peace and inspiration on the island to do their fine arts and to open a work shop. Hven is also known for production of whisky and ecological durum wheat.

Take a tour around the island in a horse carriage or rent a bike and explore the idyllic island on your own. Combine the tour with a visit to the beautiful Renaissance Garden or swimming and relaxation on the beach.

On Hven you will find many good and cosy restaurants. Alternatively, you can enjoy a picnic in the beautiful, green landscape.

In the summer season (from April to September) Spar Shipping offers regular sailing to Hven , operating all days, except Mondays. Pre-booking is necessary. In the winter season the company only offers charter sailing.
It is possible to bring bikes, yet with limitation and only with pre-agreement with the company.

Food and beverages is offered on board.
